Born in the vibrant heart of Jamaica and refined in the hustle and bustle of New York City, my unique upbringing weaves together the sophistication of the metropolitan with the rich tapestry of Caribbean aesthetics.

With a background in sales and marketing garnered from Fortune 500 companies, I seamlessly blend corporate prowess with an acute sense of aesthetics, culminating in the establishment of my own venture, Jennifer Rose Events.

With nearly 8 years of hands-on experience, my commitment to excellence extends to continuous education. I've actively participated in numerous workshops, enhancing my skills in the event industry and creating valuable networks that allowed me to carve out my distinctive niche.

A notable strength of mine is the ability to stay calm under pressure, ensuring that, even amid the stress of event planning, every detail is attended to, and the bride's special day unfolds as a truly magical affair.

In 2020, my dedication to entrepreneurship and women's empowerment earned me the prestigious Women In Business International Award. Currently based in Maryland with my husband and children, I strike a harmonious balance between a thriving career and a passion for travel. Exploring destinations near and far fuels my creativity and adds a global touch to my work.

Jasmine Ghartey

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Hello there! I'm Jasmine, and I bring a dynamic blend of youthfulness and professionalism to my role as the Admin. Assistant at our vibrant event planning firm. At 23, I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in legal studies.

Beyond the world of events and business, my personal interests include culinary adventures—I love to experiment with cooking and explore new recipes. When I'm not in the kitchen, you'll find me engrossed in true crime documentaries, unraveling mysteries and expanding my understanding of storytelling.

In my role, I've found that my determination and optimism shine through. Whether it's organizing the office, coordinating events, or tackling legal aspects, I approach each task with unwavering enthusiasm. I believe in achieving excellence while maintaining a positive and enjoyable work environment.

Outside of the professional realm, my goal is to embrace all that life has to offer. This means not only working hard to meet challenges head-on but also finding joy and fulfillment in the process. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that a balance of dedication and enjoyment is the key to a successful and rewarding journey.

CEO/WEDDING/EVENT PLANNER

Hello! I'm Jennifer, the Lead and Designer of Jennifer Rose Events. My journey from the enchanting island of Jamaica to the vibrant city of New York at the age of 9 has been a defining chapter of my life.

After earning my B.S. in Computer and Management from Lehman College in New York, I've settled down in Owings Mills, MD, with my husband and our two delightful children, Jasmine and George.

My love affair with the wedding industry began when I planned my own wedding in 1999. This experience ignited a passion that I pursued years later, eventually leading to the creation of Jennifer Rose Events. My natural instinct for storytelling, coupled with a background in sales and marketing, has allowed me to make a lasting impact on the wedding industry.

Organized and with impeccable follow-up, I thrive in building strong relationships with clients. Making them happy and bringing their visions to life is not just my job—it's my joy.

We're often called the "traveling family" as our daughter celebrated her first birthday in London, England. While we cherish exploring different destinations, our hearts are especially drawn to the island life, with Jamaica being our favorite getaway. As for my dream trip, Italy is calling, and I hope to embark on that adventure soon.

Being the Lead Planner and Designer at Jennifer Rose Events is not just a profession for me; it's a journey of turning dreams into reality, one event at a time. I look forward to the opportunity of bringing your vision to life and creating unforgettable moments for you.

Greetings! I'm Aria, your Event Assistant at Jennifer Rose Events. My professional journey has woven through operations, policy, and evaluation, providing me with valuable experiences to hone my planning and organizing skills. Each role has been a stepping stone, leading me to my passion for orchestrating celebrations.

Originally hailing from Maryland, I am now a proud Baltimore resident, finding joy in contributing to the vibrant event scene. The dynamic environment of event planning allows me to seamlessly blend my skills and passions. Being a part of Jennifer Rose Events is a perfect fit, where I get to channel my love for celebrations and people into every project.

Beyond the hustle of event coordination, you'll find me enjoying my free time exploring new restaurants, jet-setting to new destinations, and relishing moments with family and friends. I believe that the best events are those filled with joy and laughter, and I'm here to make that happen for you.
